Be Bound
by what be bound?
to nothing a wretch.
to naught but ought,
aught with a right end.
what then?
not to the breathless,
the thing dead from first.
not the merely organic,
organic does not thought assume.
not the mere biologic,
whose end be consume and consumed.
not mere cognition,
intention the thing pursue.
a beating heart power derived,
something alive,
from beginning to end.
alive.
burning own fuel,
perpetual.
kinetic, not potential,
actual.
freedom free to free,
being let be.
in freedom dwelling,
presence.
in dwelling, loving,
compassion.
in loving, speaking,
faithful.
in speaking, embodied,
personal.
in embodied, candid,
truthful.
in candid, steadfast,
constant.
in constant, promissory,
eternal.
by what be bound?
to no one a wretch.
to naught but ought,
aught with right end,
source-breath,
alive from the first.
organic constituted,
constituted organic.
unceasing physical and meta,
consuming and unconsumed.
cognition with intention,
intention to pursue
beating hearts in which derived.
